Our Company

Binary IT Solutions was founded in 2002 to serve as a partner and IT department for our clients. We provide managed services, security, and other technology solutions to our small and medium sized clients in the Southwest Indiana - Western Kentucky area. We use technology to make your business more efficient.

We are a Microsoft Small Business Specialist. We also partner with other industry leading companies and providers to bring the best of breed solutions to our clients.

Binary IT Solutions strives to build close relationships with our clients by providing consistent, affordable and high quality technology services. Our clients are our top priority and our we treat their business needs as if they were our own.

Our Team

Jason Smith - CEO / Partner
Jason serves Binary in the Sales and Accounting areas, as well as, still working as a Service Technician if the needs arise. Jason has 11 years of experience in the technology field.

Steven Groves - COO / Partner
Steven serves in the Service Manager and Research areas of the company. He directly assists the technicians with issues, as well as, works hands on in the field as needed. Steven has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry.

Danielle Smith - Dispatcher and Office Administration
Danielle serves as the contact point for Binary. She works to monitor the needs of our clients and dispatch the needed resource to the right location. She keeps the pulse of the company and our clients.

Dave Mullins - Help Desk Lead Technician
With over 14 years in the business Dave joined our Help Desk team in December of 2009. He brings a wealth of experience on help desks in many technical as well as managerial roles at Cisco Systems and Davox among others. He brings a strong background in PC support and skills in various operating systems and network connection techniques. Dave is working on his MCDST certification in desktop support.

Dawn Buckley - Help Desk Technician
Dawn has been working for our Help Desk since August 2011. She has completed 600 hours of training in Networks, Cabling, and all Microsoft applications and is working on her BS in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts. She is also working on her MCDST certification in desktop support.

Jim Leonard - Help Desk Technician
Jim joined our Help Desk in February 2011. With over 10 years experience in IT of which two were in help desk support, Jim brings solid technical skills coupled with strength in working with people remotely to resolve issues. He builds machines at home to keep his skills current.

Mel Marston - Help Desk Technician
With over 5 years experience on help desks and in customer service, Mel brings the experience of knowing a customer's issue from their point of view. She joined our Help Desk in August of 2010 and in addition to her strength in resolving caller issues has been instrumental in redefining processes to assure a consistent approach to our service offerings.

Sean McGrail - Help Desk Technician
Sean joined our Help Desk in September of 2010. He brings a wealth of experience in PC support from both enterprise clients as well as small businesses. An intuitive proactive problem solver with over 11 years experience Sean brings the comfort of quiet understanding to the PC caller's challenge in helping them get to a solution quickly and easily.

Kevin Dooling - Help Desk Technician
Kevin has been with our Help Desk since August of 2008. With 15 years experience in various PC support and systems administrator roles, Kevin brings a wealth of experience from places like Thompson Financial, EGI Exhibitions and Aspect Communications. He ran his own PC consulting business for many years before joining our organization. He brings a great deal of PC expertise and strong network and communications skills.

DJ Peterson - Help Desk Technician
DJ joined our Help Desk in February 2010. He has been building PCs since high school, and most recently has been working with ITT Technical Institute and CVS on their help desks as a technician. He has 20 years' experience with Project Management, Customer Service and Troubleshooting. He has an Associates Degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute, and an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute Technology of Boston.

James Bailey - Help Desk Technician
Having joined our Help Desk in March of 2010, James brings over five years of experience with PC hardware and software in a help desk environment. His experience comes from such companies as Brand Partners and AT&T. He has an associate's degree in Information Technology from New Hampshire Community Technical College.
